When you have a small shop, every square foot counts, so I’ve made a lot of cabinets and carts. Almost every tool is on wheels. Not always a good thing when it comes to stability/vibration, to there you are. The exceptions are the lathe and the planer/jointer. Both rely on their embrace of the planet and are also far too heavy (each over 600 lbs) to have floating around.
Some of the tools were made for the SCA, both competition and sale. The shave horse was a commission. I wish I had the space to make one for myself, but I don’t.
