Most of these beds were made for SCA camping. Yeah, not like nylon tent camping, more glamping by modern standards. There was a time when a small tent and a sleeping bag were enough, especially if you like sleeping alone. I do not, and it’s not just the years, it’s the miles when it comes to my back. All of these disassemble, but are rock solid when bolted together. Though, none of them are exactly light, the CA King was intended to be massive. The kind that will last generations.
