Rules for Sales & Auctions

Sales:

I don’t usually make things in enough volume to stock a store and pay the fees for a shopping cart and payment processing. I give eBay and Etsy plenty of money from my tool sales, so I would rather avoid the fees with my personal woodworking. It’s a bit of a manual process, but it usually goes quickly and smoothly..

  • Find something you’d like and, send me an email or on Facebook Messenger.
  • I’ll respond letting you know if the item is still available and we’ll discuss delivery and payment options.
  • Shipping, taxes, or any other ancillary fees are never included in the listed price.
  • Payment can be PayPal (wayne@wayneprecht.org), Venmo (DukeG985) or cash ($$).
  • Because of my tool business, we ship out every weekday and can ship worldwide. But import duties, taxes, bribes fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

Auctions:

Sometimes I have something particularly interesting that folks want. But all I can do is one, so a fair way to sell it is auction. Or, I just don’t know what it’s worth and this is easiest.

  • Auctions are announced on the blog and on Facebook.
  • Auctions usually run for 3 days.
  • You bid using the email link link associated with the listing.
  • The current winning bid (but not name) is updated each night.
  • At the end I will post the winner and winning bid.
  • I will email the winner to discuss delivery and payment options.
  • You can cancel a bid up to the end of the auction.
  • If you cancel after the auction ends, you are banned from all future sales or auctions.
